I hope everyone is doing well. I’m saddened to announce the resignation of Wes Lincoln as Brasher’s Code Enforcement Officer. We thank him for his service. Unfortunately mandatory training registration deadlines have put us in a position of haste in his replacement. Chuck Collins has committed to the appointment on a one year trial basis, following a review as to its permanency.

Town of Brasher – Helena Water District— The Town of Brasher Helena Water Operator and Rural Water Association will begin testing and flushing fire hydrants throughout the Helena Water Districts from April 21st to 22nd.

Residents may notice temporary discoloration in their water during this time. While the water remains safe to drink, officials recommend letting it run through your tap for a few minutes to clear up any discoloration. Residents are also advised to avoid doing laundry during or immediately after flushing in their area from Hours of 8AM to 4 PM, as discolored water may cause staining.

Water clarity should return to normal by end of the day after hydrants in your area have been flushed. This is part of a planned Bi-Annual Flushing Program.
